Spa Dee Dah, a spa party service, is the creation of Andrea Turner and Ellen Olson. We send professional massage therapists, estheticians, and spa practitioners to your door. We believe that spa services are best done where you are most comfortable: in your home, surrounded by your friends!
Spa Dee Dah uses only environmentally-friendly, all-natural skin care products for great results. And, everyone who provides services for Spa Dee Dah is a licensed professional, outstanding in their field.
Andrea Turner, CMT, a lifelong spa junkie, was certified in Swedish, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Trigger Point by San Francisco School of Massage, and studied Deep Tissue massage with Art Riggs, a renowned expert. She has an Oakland-based Massage Therapy business, and was named Best of Tribe 2006. In a previous incarnation, Andrea was a Project Manager in corporate America, building companies for Fortune 500 clients such as Intel, Williams Sonoma, and Paramount. During times of stress, she noticed the profound benefits of strong community ties in her own life, and created Spa Dee Dah as a way to strengthen ties among groups of friends. Wherever there’s something fun happening, Ellen Olson will be at the center of the action! She’s been a licensed esthetician since 2001, doing facials, waxing, and makeovers. Ellen previously owned a spa near Portland, Oregon, and was hit with a ‘lightening bolt’ idea after an experience at a shi-shi spa, where cool gazes and a ‘peace gong’ were repeatedly used to tell her and her friends to be quiet. Groups of people needed a spa environment where they could be themselves, have a good time, and get great services. So, Ellen opened Spa Dee Dah!
