Every weekend I walk to farmer's market and drool when I see all the fresh berries. But you shouldn't feel guilty drenching your vanilla ice cream with raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries - rest assured these sweet treats are working hard for you!
When eaten, fresh berries pack a whollup of essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. These provide nutrients and even combat the mutation of cancer cells!
Berries are especially fabulous for the skin. Did you know that blueberries contain the highest level of antioxidants among fruits and veggies? If you want to reverse the aging clock and lift away sundamage, here's a delicious mask that you can prepare for your skin. It will shield you from free radicals and jump start collagen production!
2 tbsp oats (grind in a coffee grinder until powdery)
1 tbsp crushed blueberries
1 tbsp yogurt
Mix all ingredients and gently scrub into skin for one minute. Then, let the mask set for fifteen minutes. Rinse with warm or cool water to remove.
Your skin will feel berry smooth! (…I couldn't resist the pun, sorry!)
